I’m starting up a website with adult content and would like to do business online, what’s a good adult merchant account provider? I have heard that payment processors usually turn down adult content providers, plus those who do choose to serve them charge exorbitant transaction rates. i have also heard disturbing news that an adult account provider had been recently charged with billing irregularities.

As broker for multiple processors, I have found both PayNova and Process America to be reputable processors for adult. Most processors that do not specialize in high risk will turn down adult related sites. However, there are processors that deal only in High Risk. While it is true that adult sites pay higher transaction fees than retail storefronts, there are ways that you can keep your fees at a minimum and be in the lower bracket.
