It cannot be Geocities or any of these free websites because you need to have an SSL secured socket layer -- the one that causes the URL of the website to be https instead of merely http. With https your customer's credit card information is safe. You can either buy your own SSL certificate through Thawte or Verisign or check with your web host if they have a shared SSL that you can use I do the same with my eBay selling where my buyers can either pay by Paypal or pay with their credit cards direcly to me via my website If you have your own merchant account and want buyers to use that, you need to have a website where your buyers can put in their credit card information.
