Alternative to Paypal for Credit Card transactions on a website. Not a merchant account?
frozendicen asked:
I’m looking for a company that can accept credit card orders from my clients and pay it directly to a bank account. We lose sales because people get lost trying to use paypal, they signup, go through tons of garbage then alltogether forget it because it’s too much hastle. So we tried a company like this but they take upwards of a month to get the money to our account. Can anyone recomend something? I’m making the page right now, so I am going to make the front end, so if there’s a system which I can just pass the info to and it can handle the payment that would be awesome.
Effective December 31, 2005, BidPay.com, Inc. will be discontinuing operations. As a result, BidPay will no longer offer payment services to the online auction industry. We regret any inconvenience to our users and thank them for their loyal patronage. Customer service will remain available at bidpayservice@bidpay.com through the month of February.

Stormpay is pretty good. Their fees are a bit higher than Paypal’s but it would apear to be worth it considering they actually respond to your questions.
