As you would expect with any Hypercom credit card terminals I have found this one extremely easy to learn how to use and also extremely easy to operate. So no longer are my customers who phone through orders to me having to wait for any length of time for the transaction to be carried out and completed.
The reason for me being able to perform such transactions so quickly is down to the fact that I have been able to customize the buttons on the keypad. So functions that I carry out regularly can be completed just by me touching one button only. Also another feature of the Hypercom T7P w/thermal printer that sold me on it was the fact that it has enough memory built in to it that allows more than one merchant’s account details to be retained. So I don’t need to keep keying in the customers information if they place regularly orders with me.
Some may feel that this is a little over the top but for any online business where you are dealing with lots of transactions at one time this is the perfect piece of kit to own. Also the other feature that both my staff and I like about this particular terminal is that we can see well in advance when the paper needs to be replaced, and actually replacing the rolls of paper is a very simple job to complete. So there’s no time being wasted having to feed the end of the new roll through rollers. The same also goes for the thermal printer that you simply take out and replace with a completely new one. If I need to invest in another terminal then of course I wouldn’t hesitate on getting another Hypercom T7P w/thermal printer for my business.
